Job Summary

The ideal Studio Manager will oversee all studio operations, including managing and growing multiple streams of revenue, new member acquisition and retention, and staff management and development. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fitness.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Revenue Growth
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue from memberships, retail sales, private training, and teacher training.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Member Acquisition and Retention
    • Develop and implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
    • Monitor and analyze member feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Staff Management and Development
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of highly skilled instructors and staff.
    • Monitor and analyze staff performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Studio Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
    • Ensure that the studio is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the studio and attract new members.
    • Monitor and analyze marketing data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the studio's budget and financials, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
    • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role in the fitness industry.
  • Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Passion for fitness and a commitment to helping others achieve their fitness goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of organization.
