Job Description:
This position is situated within a clinical research environment, focusing on the preparation for upcoming studies and serving a healthy population of participants during clinical trials. Responsibilities include:
- Administering trial doses and monitoring for any side effects
- Reporting and investigating adverse reactions
- Providing care and support to participants throughout the study

This role is ideal for individuals transitioning from hospital settings to clinical research environments, working exclusively with healthy candidates during medical dosing trials.

Work Schedule:
Shifts may vary, including:
- 5:30 AM - 1 PM
- 6:30 AM - 3 PM
- 3 PM - 11 PM
- 11 PM - 7 AM

New schedules will be communicated every Friday for the upcoming two weeks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document patient information for admission, including medical records and insurance details
- Record vital signs such as height, weight, temperature, and blood pressure
- Assist patients in preparing for medical examinations and collect necessary samples
- Ensure sanitary needs of patients are met, including bathing and dressing
- Monitor patients and document any changes in their condition
- Utilize medical equipment as needed, including catheters and oxygen supplies
- Collect samples for routine laboratory tests
- Provide direct patient care according to the care plan
- Administer medications and injections following established protocols

Required Skills:
- Strong verbal communication and attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities and time management skills
- Basic understanding of medical diagnosis and treatment techniques
- Proficient in data analysis and documentation
- Knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act and legal implications of nursing actions

Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of nursing experience required
- Associate's degree in nursing is mandatory
- Current nursing license is required
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred
