Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Molding Engineer II - Process Improvement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to mass production, maintenance, and new model development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement process control to ensure consistent quality and productivity.
  • Generate process designs and FMEA's to optimize production.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest innovations and technologies in injection molding.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support new model development and advanced technology systems to ensure timely and quality launches.
  • Develop and maintain ISO documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist with budget development and monitoring expenditures to ensure departmental efficiency.
  • Suggest profitability plans and cost savings initiatives.
Working Conditions
  • General office environment for 4 hours per day.
  • Manufacturing environment for 4 hours per day.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required for training or remote work.
  • Required to work overtime as needed.
  • May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of equipment.
  • May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Plastic/Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3 years of experience in injection molding and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in injection molding and robotics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 2D CAD-3D design.
  • Excellent project management skills.
