Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Stryten Energy. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing and improving our injection molding operations to meet the growing demand for reliable and sustainable energy storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Observe and analyze injection molding and secondary operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to simplify operations and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement cycle time reduction goals and facilitate activities to continuously reduce cycle time and product cost.
- Design and implement automation solutions in molding, material handling, and secondary operations using new methods in tooling, machine designs, and robots.
- Work with plant personnel and suppliers to resolve molding problems, including parts filling, dimensional tolerances, and coloring.
- Train and evaluate technicians in best practices of maintaining process control and troubleshooting problems.
- Monitor daily production scrap and rework to eliminate processing-caused scrap or rework.
- Supplement sampling of parts as required and assist in starting up presses following a plant shutdown.
- Follow all Quality procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field, 5+ years of injection molding shop floor experience.
- Ability to lead others and assist with employee development.
- Interest in and experience with problem-solving of a Manufacturing Engineering nature.
- Project Management and team leader skills.
- Experience with tools such as SPC, PFMEA, IQ/PQ.
- Six Sigma certification is a strong plus.
- Computer literate with Microsoft and application software.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated, can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
