Combat Engineer Specialist

As a Combat Engineer with the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of military operations. Your expertise in designing and building infrastructure, detecting and neutralizing hazards, and conducting route clearance will be essential in safeguarding your team and repelling the enemy.
Key Responsibilities- Construct fighting positions, fixed and floating bridges, obstacles, and defensive positions
- Place and detonate explosives in a safe and controlled manner
- Conduct route clearance operations to ensure safe passage for troops and equipment
- Basic demolitions and explosive hazards training
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and construct wire obstacles
- Basic urban operations and fixed bridge building skills
