Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager, Engineering to join our team at Refresco. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and managing a portfolio of medium to large scale projects to achieve Refresco's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Coordinate the work activities for multiple functions to ensure satisfactory project delivery defined by the scope, timeline, budget, and technical performance.
- Leadership: Demonstrate strong business acumen through identifying key stakeholders, coordinating cross-functional teams, development of business cases and budgets for each project.
- Technical Expertise: Use technical, engineering and program management expertise to provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication of expectations and goals throughout the plant environment to support program objectives.
- Progress Tracking: Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators.
- Reporting: Provide timely updates to Refresco NA Operations Leadership on progress and budget of a project and proposes immediate actions when deviations to budget or progress become apparent.
- Vendor Management: Assist with the selection, negotiation, and managing of all activities regarding external consultants or vendors.
- Resource Allocation: Partner with Technical Leads (Manufacturing or Engineering) and ensures the availability of these resources to complete all phases of the project.
- Testing and Installation: Participate in or facilitate the different testing, installation and start-up phases.
- Plant Preparation: Supports plant preparation for the project ensuring all plant functions are included in the preparation and are aware of (and held to) the expectations.
- Training and Documentation: Track training documentation development and plant leadership and employees training and to ensure flawless startup of new equipment or packaging.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance to all OSHA and environmental regulatory and corporate standards as it relates to projects.
- Documentation: Ensure project documentation is complete and filed in the SharePoint per documented standards.
- Best Practices: Help strengthen the position of Program Management by leading the development, implementation, and training of best practices within Refresco NA.
- Contingency Planning: Ensure that goals are achieved as planned or contingency plans are implemented to regain schedule or adjust to unplanned events beyond control of team.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Program Management, or a combination of those functions.
- Experience: Prior project and team management experience.
- Certification: Possess PMP or working towards PMP certification.
- Skills: Exceptional computer (MS Office and MS Project) skills.
- Knowledge: Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter or willing to quickly learn about the bottling industry.
- Communication: Able to effectively communicate at all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience in a Food/Beverage Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Skills: Excellent Project Management and reporting skills.
- Software: Proficient in Excel, Word, Project, SAP, and PowerPoint.
- Teamwork: Strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and solve problems, results-oriented.
