Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Delray Medical Center. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in our Neuro Stepdown unit, working full-time nights.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
