Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Ancora Memory Support at Mount Alverna Village, a vibrant senior living community in Parma, Ohio.

About the Role:

As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents, supervise and coordinate the activities of our Resident Care Assistants (RCAs), and ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained. You will also be responsible for admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, and keep physician and/or other health care professionals informed of changes in resident conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing wound care.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of RCAs to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained.
  • Responsible for admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing disruptions to care.
  • Keep physician and/or other health care professionals informed of changes in resident conditions, including any new or worsening symptoms.
  • Perform specific clinical skills necessary for the nursing care of residents, including catheter care, ostomy care, and other specialized skills.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • LPN license in Ohio.
  • Recent clinical experience, education, and specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must enjoy working with the senior population and be able to provide compassionate care.
