Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Ancora Memory Support at Mount Alverna Village, a vibrant senior living community in Parma, Ohio.

About the Role:

As an LPN, you will play a vital role in creating and maintaining an optimal physical, spiritual, social, and psychological environment for our residents. You will provide direct nursing care, supervise and coordinate activities, and participate in the documentation of nursing care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Supervise and coordinate activities performed by Resident Care Assistants (RCAs) to ensure high-quality care
  • Responsible for admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, ensuring a smooth transition process
  • Keep physicians and other healthcare professionals informed of changes in resident conditions
  • Perform specific clinical skills necessary for nursing care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration
  • Participate in the documentation of nursing care, ensuring accurate and timely records
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program
  • LPN license in Ohio
  • Recent clinical experience, education, and specialty skills specific to geriatrics
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must enjoy working with the senior population
