Position Summary for Quality Manager:

This role demands active engagement, meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to surpassing customer expectations. The Quality Manager will provide comprehensive quality leadership in collaboration with the manufacturing and senior management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and sustain a mature ISO quality management system.
  • Engage with customers and suppliers to provide necessary support.
  • Plan and direct quality assurance initiatives and activities.
  • Maintain comprehensive reports to keep management informed of performance metrics.
  • Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Identify and facilitate opportunities for improvement.
  • Establish and uphold quality objectives aligned with production operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Manage quality resource activities, including measurement, process enhancements, employee training, and evaluating manufacturing process and equipment capabilities.

Qualifications for Quality Manager:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ISO and Quality Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing (experience in sheet metal is advantageous).
  • Proficient in weld inspection and AWS certification.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification is desirable.
  • Experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Adept at translating technical and customer issues into operational requirements.
  • Comprehensive understanding of testing, inspection, and quality challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and reporting.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments for effective problem resolution.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
