KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing and executing quality control plans in alignment with the company's quality standards and contractual obligations. Ensuring comprehensive adherence to all aspects of the Quality Management System throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitating communication of project-specific quality expectations to all relevant teams, subcontractors, and clients. Guaranteeing that the Quality Management System is effectively established and maintained by all personnel involved in quality-impacting tasks.
Monitoring the progress of quality-related activities and ensuring compliance with established standards. Acting as the primary quality representative for external stakeholders regarding quality matters. Reporting to upper management on the effectiveness of the Quality Management System, including recommendations for enhancements. Reviewing and approving all quality-related documentation and submissions.Coordinating all inspection and quality assurance activities while managing corrective actions and resolving any quality discrepancies. The Quality Control Engineer possesses the authority to: Halt operations if continuation may compromise quality or conceal defects. Prevent the use of materials that could negatively impact quality or mask defects. Direct the removal and rectification of any non-compliant work or materials.Temporarily suspend work and/or material supply by any personnel, subcontractors, or suppliers as necessary to ensure quality outcomes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture. Relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. A minimum of five years of experience in Quality Control Systems.
Proficient computer skills; adept in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of adapting to various software applications. A proactive individual who is self-motivated and can achieve objectives essential for the division's success.Demonstrable work references showcasing exceptional skills and accomplishments, including:
A high degree of professionalism; Reliable, results-oriented, and ethical. Strong organizational, multitasking, and planning abilities. Excellent customer service skills. Strong verbal and written communication capabilities. Successful completion of post-offer background checks and drug screenings.
