Job Title: Nurse

At Advocare, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients under the supervision of physicians and the Clinical Services Manager.
  • Maintain exam rooms and ensure they are equipped with necessary supplies and materials.
  • Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
  • Observe, record, and report patient conditions and reactions to medications and treatments to physicians.
  • Educate patients and families about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition, and maintenance of health and wellness.
  • Ensure appointment preferences are given to patients in emergency situations and greet patients, preparing them for physician examination.
  • Screen patients for appropriate information, instruct them in collecting samples and tests, and maintain/review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information.
  • Post test and examination results, respond to/refere incoming patient treatment-related phone calls, and instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
  • Adhere to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies.
  • Perform other duties/tasks as requested by providers, coordinators, and management in accordance with office procedures/policies.
Requirements:
  • Firm grasp of medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to demonstrate leadership and maintain credibility.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and digital record systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and verbalize ideas.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and adapt to various competing demands.
  • Demonstrates the highest level of customer/client service and response.
  • Ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
  • Active LPN license.
  • Completion of an approved LPN program.
  • Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience, with clinic experience preferred.
  • Maintain CPR certification.
