Sales Development Representative

**Job Description**

This position involves developing new leads, fostering strong relationships with customers, and effectively communicating their needs to drive sales and meet performance goals. As the primary point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries in a timely manner and following up on quotes, orders, and sales leads.

You will also be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, upselling products and services to customers, and assisting outside sales and account managers as needed to grow sales. Additionally, you will review account histories to identify potential growth areas and work to achieve department and personal sales targets.

In this role, you will use marketing tools to increase our value to customers and drive sales growth. You will also collaborate with other departments to provide solutions to customer needs and travel as required to meet with customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop new leads and foster strong relationships with customers

  • Identify sales opportunities and upsell products and services
  • Assist outside sales and account managers to grow sales

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Associate degree in business-related field preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree

· 2+ years of inside sales experience

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Engaging and goal-oriented personality

Work Environment:

In this role, you may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles when visiting the plant floor. The noise level can be loud, and hearing protection is provided and may be mandatory in certain areas. You will be required to talk, see, and hear frequently, and you may need to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer and phone.

Estimated Salary Range: $48,000 - $56,000 per year based on location and experience.
