About the Role

This role will support clinical services, including resident medication management, health assessments, and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of the nursing department, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and ensuring quality of care.
  • Verify the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments, and orders.
  • Participate in regular resident assessments and service planning, and follow up with ancillary health care services as needed.
  • Assist with the move-in and move-out process, including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications.
  • Provide direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or to fill an open shift.
  • Fulfill other duties as needed, such as assuming the Health Care Director's responsibilities in their absence, and relaying concerns to the Director.
Requirements
  • Current nursing license (RN or LPN) and CPR certification as required by the state.
  • At least 1 year of prior relevant experience.
  • Prefers previous supervisory experience, preferably in senior living.
