We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Selux US. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of our inventory levels, tracking orders, and investigating any discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, tracking orders and investigating problems.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, usage, and adjustments.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, adjustments, and discrepancies for management review.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient material handling, storage, and distribution.
- Coordinate with the procurement department to manage inventory replenishment and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Ensure that inventory items are stored correctly and safely.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize loss, theft, and damage.
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and shipping documents.
- Maintain and update inventory management systems with accurate data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any system-related issues or discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of inventory control best practices.
- Back up and support warehouse receiving function as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field.
- Experience with inventory management software or warehouse management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This role will be based in our manufacturing and warehouse areas, where you will be exposed to a noisy environment on a regular basis. You will be required to stand, walk, bend, and reach with hands and arms, and use hands to handle objects. You will also be required to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and operate a forklift, pallet jacks, and wave machine.
