Job Summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in Production Engine Test Operations (PETO). As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all electrical systems integrated with and supporting testing of engines within the test cells.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the fundamentals of Flight Deck to detect issues, prevent issues, and optimize performance of electrical systems to enable the test team to execute within the process and unlock value for our customers.
  • Contribute to the successful achievement of the team's key performance indicators across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Drive prevention of issues and drive improvements to all operational issues that are categorized into "controls" and "facilities electrical" buckets within the delivery Pareto.
  • Manage and oversee all electrical test enabling and facility systems, including large electrical systems, small electrical systems, controls, PLC's, and software across all test cells.
  • Interface and coordinate with organizations that support PETO to prevent/correct problems and to create future relationships for sharing lessons learned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at minimum 4 years of experience in managing and overseeing all electrical systems integrated with and supporting testing of engines within the cell).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing and overseeing all electrical systems integrated with and supporting testing of engines within the cell.
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or applicable discipline.
