About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Processing Technician to join our team at Jushi. As a key member of our processing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our cannabis products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical and hand bucking of cannabis biomass to ensure optimal drying and curing
  • Accurately weigh and label biomass on racks and storage bins to maintain inventory control
  • Operate and maintain processing, packaging, and labeling equipment to ensure efficient production
  • Package cannabis flower by weight and assemble primary, secondary, or tertiary packaging for all cannabis products
  • Print and apply labels to finish packaged products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform light to medium maintenance of automated equipment, including cleaning and preventative maintenance
  • Conduct counts of packaging and labeling materials to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Provide feedback to improve process quality and efficiency, and adhere to strict sanitation practices throughout the facility
Requirements
  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
  • At least 2 years relevant experience working in an order entry/picking/labeling/packaging/customer service position
  • Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
  • Previous experience in the medical cannabis industry preferred
  • Ability to constantly perform desk-based computer tasks and occasionally twist/bend/stoop/squat/kneel/crawl and sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment and ability to operate and troubleshoot label printing equipment
  • Able to work independently as well as operate as a team
