Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Attendant to join our team at AEG. As an Environmental Services Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform custodial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and scrubbing, as assigned.
  • Prepare facilities for events, including setting up chairs, stages, tables, and counters, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Conduct ground cleaning and trash removal, as assigned, and clean interior and exterior glass.
  • Clean offices, use cleaning carts and equipment, and clean and polish furniture.
  • Clean and prepare floors and carpets, set up chairs, tables, and staging, and clean restrooms during events and for regular building maintenance.
  • Handle all waste and participate in recycling programs, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to physically perform the duties required of this position.
  • Ability to follow and respond appropriately to oral and written instructions.
  • Understanding and compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of time on a regular, daily basis.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions on a regular, daily basis.
  • Ability to complete tasks timely and effectively.
  • Ability to maintain the cleanliness of work environment, janitor closets, housekeeping carts, etc.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in an environment containing caustic chemicals and cleaning materials, debris, dust, and trash. You must be able to work safely and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. You will also be required to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Benefits

This part-time role offers an hourly wage of $15.13 and benefits, including a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. You will also receive one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 40 hours per year.
