Oak View Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our venues, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting event operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform custodial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and scrubbing, as assigned.
- Prepare facilities for events, including setting up chairs, stages, tables, and counters, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ground cleaning and trash removal, including emptying waste baskets and refuse cans into large refuse dumpster containers.
- Clean and polish furniture, and clean restrooms during events and for regular building maintenance.
- Handle all waste and participate in recycling programs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to physically perform the duties required of this position.
- Ability to follow and respond appropriately to oral and written instructions.
- Understanding and compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of time on a regular, daily basis.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions on a regular, daily basis.
