A leading Shipping and Logistics Company, Synerfac, is seeking a highly skilled Marine/Vessel Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the repair and maintenance of vessel machinery and systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vessel machinery, including pneumatics, diesel engines, hydraulics, and A/C and refrigeration systems.
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues with vessel systems and equipment.
  • Operate man-lifts and fork-lifts as needed to access and repair vessel components.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects and meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize vessel performance.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working with vessel machinery and systems.
  • Previous experience working on large vessel parts and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Knowledge of pipe fitting and welding techniques.
  • Man-lift and fork-lift certification preferred.
  • A/C and refrigeration classes provided if not already completed.
  • Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
