Key Responsibilities- Strategic Fundraising Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve annual and long-term financial goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
- Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and planned giving.
- Team Leadership and Management
- Lead and manage a team of development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure successful fundraising outcomes.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge in fundraising, donor relations, and stewardship.
- Donor Engagement and Stewardship
- Develop and implement strategies to engage and steward donors, ensuring a positive and personalized experience.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, volunteers, and community leaders.
- Financial Planning and Management
- Develop and manage the annual development budget, ensuring effective use of resources and achieving financial goals.
- Monitor and analyze fundraising metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership and the board of directors.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with senior leadership, board members, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication of fundraising goals and strategies.
- Develop and implement communication plans to engage stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and community leaders.
- Education and Experience
- BA/BS from an accredited college or university in business, nonprofit management, public relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in fundraising, annual campaign, capital campaign, planned giving, major gifts, moves management, and grant management.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in fundraising, with a minimum of $1M in combined donations.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in staff supervision and volunteer development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and community leaders.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, with a strong understanding of fundraising metrics and analysis.
- Proficient in using email, Internet, and other PC-based applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
The Batten Group - Executive Search is committed to providing a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits program.
