About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Air Quality Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Environment & Health Division, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and solutions to clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate emissions and conduct engineering evaluations of air pollution sources
  • Conduct computer modeling of air pollution dispersion
  • Perform statistical and geospatial analyses of air quality data
  • Analyze pollution control measures
  • Conduct air monitoring and indoor air quality analysis
  • Prepare air quality permit applications and environmental impact reports
  • Conduct air quality and greenhouse gas analyses
  • Work as a team to contribute technical skills on complex projects
  • Critically review and interpret local, state, and federal environmental regulations
Requirements
  • B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or science discipline (air quality coursework is a plus)
  • 0-5 years of air quality or related experience
  • Strong computing skills including high-level use of spreadsheets and word processing
  • Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving, and organization skills
  • Demonstrated capabilities in understanding, interpreting, and applying environmental regulations to real-world situations
  • Programming, database, and GIS skills are preferred but not required
