">Job Description
">We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in Sacramento, CA. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including payroll processing, accounts payable, check printing, reconciliations, invoicing, and acting as backup for other staff as needed.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Process payroll and partner with HR to maintain accurate employee databases">
- Aggregate supporting receipts for credit card and accounts payable transactions and assist with recording in the general ledger">
- Record monthly rents for all clients, reconcile security deposits, prepaid rent, and client aging, and work with program directors to ensure timely payments">
- Prepare and input journal entries as needed and complete related analysis">
- Assist in maintaining an orderly accounting filing system for easy access by department staff">
- Support the invoicing process, gathering necessary information, approvals, and submitting final requests with attention to detail">
- Run reports and gather materials for annual audit and year-end tax returns preparation">
- Perform special projects, administrative tasks, and other accounting-related work">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- ">
- Minimum two years of accounting/payroll experience, preferably with ADP or Paylocity experience">
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook">
- Detail-oriented, problem-solving, analytical thinking">
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual Spanish a plus">
- Multitasking in a fast-paced environment, teamwork, self-starting capabilities">
- Excellent writing and language skills, ability to maintain confidentiality">
