Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures, communicating with patients, and ensuring the quality of radiographs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic and intermediate radiologic procedures under the direction of the Radiologist.
  • Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and confirm their understanding.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations.
  • Identify patient and label images, compare requisitions to physician's orders, and process images to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist and communicate with Radiologists, and prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulatory agencies.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months.
  • Advanced training beyond High School in Radiologic Technology.
