Job Summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Burlington, Wisconsin.

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek and flexible shifts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing basic and intermediate radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Positioning patients and selecting exposure factors for various radiologic examinations
  • Providing patient with radiation protection and safety in accordance with prescribed methods
  • Identifying patient and labeling images pertaining to the patient
  • Processing images ensuring quality of radiographs and calling back patients as necessary
  • Assisting, communicating, and consulting with Radiologists
  • Preparing and maintaining records in accordance with various regulatory agencies

The ideal candidate will have a Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin and a Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Additionally, the candidate should have Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) and advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Radiologic Technology.
