About the Role:

Festival Foods is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Clerk I to join our team. As a Grocery Clerk I, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our stores are well-stocked, visually appealing, and provide exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Management: Ensure that all products are properly displayed, rotated, and stocked according to company standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, acknowledging, and reacting to guest needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with unloading product from pallets, organizing the stock room, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Store Presentation: Ensure that all products are properly presented on store shelves and in cases, and that the sales floor is clean and organized.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with store management, associates, and guests to maintain standards and exceed guest expectations.
  • Problem-Solving: Address guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of associates and guests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate inventory levels, ensure proper product rotation, and maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
