We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our mobile health team at Mass General Brigham. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in increasing access to quality healthcare for vulnerable communities in the greater Boston area.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and/or nurses with evaluation, management, and treatment of patients at mobile clinics.
- Register patients in the electronic medical record system and ensure efficient patient flow.
- Perform vital signs, collect specimens, and conduct CLIA-waived tests as directed.
- Assist with patient examination, procedures, and treatments as directed by providers.
- Maintain neat, clean, and safe patient care areas and promote patient satisfaction.
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or Associate's Degree preferred.
- Certificate in Medical Assisting preferred; graduate of an accredited program.
- Experience in healthcare preferred; bilingual Haitian Creole or Spanish a plus.
