Vireo Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacy Manager to oversee the dispensing of cannabis-based medications at our Cannabis Patient Centers (CPC). This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, patient care, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense cannabis-based medications based on physician recommendations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to patients.
  • Collaborate with Patient Care Coordinators and healthcare professionals to provide education and training on the use of cannabis-based medicines.
  • Monitor and control medications, advising on interventions and ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations.
  • Oversee dispensary operations, including inventory management, order entry, and charge verification.
  • Provide pharmacological information and counseling to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Precept students from affiliated Schools of Pharmacy.
  • Ensure compliance with state laws and regulations, maintaining accurate records and adhering to infection-control protocols.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing with the State of Minnesota.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical or retail pharmacy setting.
  • Preferred experience in medical cannabis or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Willingness to work weekend days and flexible scheduling as needed.
