Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. In this dynamic and patient-centric environment, you will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and checking for potential interactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations and customer service.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless workflow and efficient service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
