Role Summary
The Senior Facilities Technician is responsible for overseeing and maintaining essential utilities and operational equipment in accordance with established protocols, standards, and safety regulations. This role involves adhering to detailed instructions to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize the performance of facilities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organizes and prioritizes tasks to ensure effective maintenance of facilities
  • Inspects, repairs, and maintains existing electromechanical systems
  • Executes electrical system installations, including circuits, motors, control devices, lighting fixtures, and panels
  • Comprehends and adheres to safety protocols, maintenance guidelines, manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and assembly diagrams
  • Ensures the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
  • Maintains accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Regular and punctual attendance is essential, with potential for evening and weekend work as needed
Qualifications
Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that supports successful job performance.
Certifications: Completion of vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Experience: A minimum of years of relevant experience.
