Key Responsibilities
Core Duties:
- Offer administrative support for the organization’s development, volunteer, and communication initiatives as directed by the Director of Institutional Advancement.
- Guide supporters to the relevant personnel and assist clients in accessing community resources.
- Manage the processing of donor birthday greetings and other forms of communication.
- Code invoices for the Advancement Office.
- Assist with seasonal events such as the Archbishop Hannan Community Appeal, Serve, and holiday collections.
- Oversee the inventory of all branded materials, letterhead, and office supplies.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Physical Requirements: This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and engaging with a computer. The role involves sitting, standing, walking, and talking. The ability to lift up to fifteen pounds occasionally is necessary. The physical demands are primarily sedentary, involving non-strenuous daily administrative activities.
- Standing: Less than 33% of the time.
- Walking: Less than 33% of the time.
- Sitting: Between 33% and 66% of the time.
- Hand Usage: Over 66% of the time.
- Reaching: Less than 33% of the time.
- Communication: Full ability to talk and hear.
- Vision: Correctable vision required.
- Lifting: Able to lift/carry up to 10 lbs.
Minimum Educational and General Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 - 5 years of experience in providing administrative support.
- Familiarity with clerical and administrative procedures and systems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
