Network Infrastructure Specialist

As a Network Engineer II at Computer Services Incorporated, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and upgrade their network infrastructure. This includes collaborating with customers to resolve network-related issues, planning and evaluating new and existing network systems, and ensuring the security and integrity of customer data.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers on network infrastructure design and implementation.
- Collaborate with the Network Operations team to ensure the proper engineering and installation of network infrastructure changes and new implementations.
- Ensure projects and tasks are completed in a timely manner and meet customer requirements.
- Participate in network design, planning, and site/data center surveys to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
- Monitor internal and external network infrastructure to ensure security and integrity.
- Respond to incidents and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain CSI's network security policies and procedures.
- Associate's degree from an accredited university or equivalent training in a relevant field.
- CCNA certification at a minimum, with CCNP preferred.
- At least three years of experience in a relevant technical field.
- Advanced IT knowledge, including security clearance, firewalls, routers, switches, and network security.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
This position requires regular contact with customers and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Decision MakingThis role requires the use of judgment to solve problems and make decisions in a standard or recognized method of operation.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
