Account Manager, On Premise Sales Representative

The Account Manager, On Premise, is a frontline sales representative role at Great Lakes Coca-Cola. This position pursues new business opportunities by prospecting and acquiring new customers within an assigned territory for the On Premise and Foodservice market segment.
Key Responsibilities- Execute and close sales calls with a focus on value-added selling activities for specified accounts.
- Execute 'Looks of Success' in outlets, sell and implement campaigns, and sell promotional programming/displays/equipment to existing accounts.
- Transport, replace and maintain Point of Sale advertising as appropriate for accounts.
- Qualify and prospect new business leads to secure new customers and execute channel 'Looks of Success'.
- Acquire specified number of accounts based on assigned territory opportunity.
- Review business results with customers.
- Work with customers to determine their product, inventory and delivery needs.
- Track daily, weekly and monthly call activity and performance measurements against assigned goals and expectations.
- Resolve customer inquiries, including researching and closing Customer Service Tickets.
- Ensure account and customer standards are met, including proper Point of Sale execution, proper maintenance of company assets, company merchandising standards and product rotation and customer compliance.
- Establish and achieve equipment placement goals and achieve minimum performance requirements.
- Ensure customers are signed up on the company's online ordering platform and use it properly for ordering.
- Work with cross-functional teams as needed to meet business objectives (Call Center, Distribution, Warehouse, Commercial, etc.).
- Demonstrate a positive and customer-focused attitude and manage time effectively.
- Support contract renewal negotiations as needed.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree and 0 to 1 plus years of Sales experience or HS Diploma/GED with 3 plus years of Sales experience.
- Excellent organization and planning skills including time management.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Valid driver's license and driving record within Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) policy guidelines.
- Travel in the local area.
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
- Experience in consumer products and direct store delivery sales.
- Experience prospecting new business and acquiring new customers.
