Position Overview:

Under the guidance of Maintenance Control, you will be responsible for executing both scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure a safe and secure working environment.

· Act promptly to address aircraft out-of-service situations during operational hours, including weekends and holidays.

· Deliver on-demand aircraft maintenance services, which include:

o Diagnosing aircraft system issues utilizing approved technical documentation.

o Executing technical deferral processes in accordance with the air carrier's Minimum Equipment List & Configuration Deferral List.

o Conducting inspections to determine safety for ferry flights.

o Replacing aircraft components as necessary.

o Carrying out low-level scheduled maintenance inspections.

o Performing unscheduled maintenance inspections due to environmental factors.

o Providing escort services at the airport for technicians dispatched to handle more complex maintenance tasks.

o Independently executing all line maintenance functions.

Essential Skills:

· Strong judgment to ensure adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.

· Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, recognizing when unusual issues necessitate collaboration with others.

· Capability to work autonomously without direct supervision.

· High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.

· Proficient communication skills in English.

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

· FAA Airframe and Power Plant license.

Desirable:

· Familiarity with FAR Part 121 air carrier operations.

· Experience with MHI CRJ 200 / 700 / 900 series aircraft is preferred.

· Strong problem-solving abilities.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Supervisory Role:

No supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

· Work will take place in hangar and ramp settings, with potential exposure to engine exhaust and elevated noise levels.

· Flexibility to work nights, shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

· Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, and perform various physical activities including climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, sitting, standing, and stooping, often in confined spaces.

· Frequent movement and standing/walking are necessary.
