Under the ownership of First Atlantic Healthcare, Dexter Health Care house follows in First Atlantic's long reputation for excellence in Long Term Care.Wages start at $17.00 per hourHousekeeper/MaintenanceAssistant You are a key part of the team providing great care to yourResidents and in this is a very important role, you are performing day-to-dayservices ensuring a clean, attractive, and safe place for Residents to live andstaff to work. Your hard work makes a difference.Every day, you are making a positive impression on your Residents, theirfamilies, and their visitors. Essential Functions: The following list of dutiesincludes primary responsibilities, but is not all-inclusive: Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and procedures Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures Clean windows and screens as directed Replace burned-out light bulks, to include, exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, and room call lights, and perform cleaning duties whenever necessary Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor Be in an on-call rotation for nights, weekends, and emergencies in conjunction with the maintenance staff at the facility Promotes the facility philosophy of care and mission statement Performs other housekeeping duties as assignedAs you are taking care of yourResidents, you have: Flexible Shifts; typically working days or evenings Pay on Demand- Daily access to your paycheck Tuition reimbursement and education support to grow your career with us Full time employees have access to full benefits; medical, dental, vision, and disability Employer paid life insurance Paid Time Off available to all employees 401(k) Retirement savings program with employer contribution A place to make a difference in your community and be proud of your hard work Housekeeper and Maintenance Education and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent preferred Maintenance or mechanical experience preferred Prior cleaning or healthcare experience preferred; and we are very happy to train Must be able to lift 30 lbs floor to waist; lift 10 lbs waist to shoulder; lift and carry 30 lbs; and push/pull 40 lbs Learn about regulations and guidelines governing environmental services functions in the long-term care facility Alljob offers are contingent upon receiving excellent references and passing theMaine State Background Check.
