Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Wayfair. As a key member of our distribution team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe working practices, and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety and legal procedures.
  • Delegate tasks and targets, evaluating the performance of staff and implementing improvements.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and maintain the efficient operation of warehouse tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other managers to achieve team goals and support new team members.
  • Drive business initiatives and analyze data to inform decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing accurate and timely information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in management, administration, supply chain, or customer service, or 5+ years of experience in product distribution.
  • Knowledge of safety and legal documentation processes, including MSDS, equipment checklists, and BOL.
  • Working understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Excellent leadership, administration, and communication skills.
  • Strong motivational, team-building, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and resolve crises.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuvering product 150+ pounds unassisted or via team lift.
  • Ability to read and comprehend English to ensure safety.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
