Spurwink Services is actively seeking a dedicated Language and Communication Specialist to join our Chelsea Day Treatment Program in a full-time capacity. This role promises a rich professional journey, encompassing assessment, intervention, and advisory services for young individuals facing behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges, ranging from ages 5 to 20.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and address speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver direct instruction and consultation in various settings to foster a comprehensive language and communication environment.
- Provide training and consultation to educational and clinical staff regarding effective communication strategies.
- Oversee and mentor speech pathology interns and assistants as needed.

Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Communication Disorders and a valid Maine State License in Speech-Language Pathology are required.
