Role Overview:
The Commercial Loan Assistant plays a vital role in supporting loan officers with the management and processing of commercial loan applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist loan officers in the preparation and management of loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Evaluate financial statements, credit reports, and other pertinent information to determine the creditworthiness of borrowers.
- Support the execution of credit analysis and risk assessments for commercial loan applications.
- Facilitate communication between various internal departments to ensure efficient loan processing and timely updates for borrowers.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct data entry and maintain precise records of loan applications and transactions.
- Help prepare loan packages while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Maintain consistent communication with loan officers and borrowers throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Research industry trends and market conditions to enhance loan analysis.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to borrowers, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Required Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Basic understanding of financial analysis and lending principles.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary range of $40,000 to $75,000, along with robust health benefits.
