Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a social media marketing plan to increase engagement and reach across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and stakeholders to create high-quality content that showcases the university's mission and values.
  • Manage and maintain the social media presence for the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and Texas Tech Physicians, including creating and curating content, scheduling posts, and monitoring analytics.
  • Conduct research to stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices.
  • Develop and execute social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences.
  • Monitor and respond to social media mentions and comments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the Office of Communications & Marketing to ensure consistency and alignment with the university's brand and messaging.
  • Provide regular reports and analytics to stakeholders on social media performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as marketing, communications, or public relations, plus three years of experience in social media marketing or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
