Job Summary:

The Human Resources Director is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with Senior Management in supporting the organization. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, payroll administration, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation and monitoring, recruitment, and employment law compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Senior Leaders and Managers in aligning with Sysco HR initiatives.
• Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquires.
• Facilitate the Sysco Speaks Survey efforts for leaders. trends with senior management and recommend actions to ensure positive organizational
• Recommend, develop and schedule training and development courses.
• Prepare and maintain company salary structure, job documentation, and job evaluations
• Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements.
• Develop and maintain relationship with employment agencies, universities and other
• Coach and develop the HR Generalist.
• Participates in special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.
• Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in Human Resources Management.
• Attention to detail, extraordinary follow-up, and ability to create meaningful plans and present to management.
• Ability to work independently and with a group on various on-going projects simultaneously.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external customers (management, co-workers, vendors and customers.)
• Must be able to look at a computer screen for prolonged periods of time and type.
