Role Overview

The Student Enrollment and Data Team is dedicated to ensuring that our schools are fully enrolled, empowering students to create a brighter future for themselves and their communities. As the Director of Student Recruitment, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic recruitment initiatives to attract prospective students and families to our school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Create and execute a comprehensive field recruitment strategy aligned with our school's mission, vision, and enrollment goals.
  • Regional Field Plan Review: Evaluate application acquisition efforts and return on investment to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Recruitment Events: Plan and coordinate school fairs, open houses, information sessions, and community outreach initiatives to engage with prospective families.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, and educational partners to expand our recruitment networks.
  • Community Outreach: Participate in grassroots outreach tactics, including canvassing door-to-door and around the neighborhood, to build awareness and engagement in the community.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and excellence.
Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project Management: Demonstrate strong project and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver consistent and timely results.
  • Strategic Thinking: Showcase strategic and analytical skills, with an aptitude for shifting from troubleshooting to systems-building.
  • Operational Excellence: Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in enrollment management or admissions leadership, preferably in public charter schools.
Work Environment

This role can be based in one of our locations: Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, or San Antonio. Travel requirements include approximately 15% of time spent on the road, visiting various locations.
