Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and Assist the Provider: Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure safe, quality, and cost-effective service and care for patients.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage medical records, schedule appointments, and perform various administrative tasks to support the healthcare team.
  • Clinical Support: Assist with clinical procedures, take vital signs, and perform other tasks as needed to support patient care.
  • Quality and Safety: Contribute to a safe patient environment by following established protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Medical Assistant certification or registry required within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience: Previous work experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA, or CCMA required.
  • Additional Skills: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
