Job Summary

The Enrollment Services Coordinator plays a critical role in the daily operations of enrollment services, working independently to perform duties with a high degree of judgment, discretion, and initiative. This position requires advanced knowledge of enrollment services and its functions, directly assisting in the management and coordination of medical school applications and academic records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Admissions and Student Records Management: Provides overall coordination and management of admissions and student records business processes, maintaining an extensive knowledge of school, state, and federal laws, policies, and procedures related to processing admissions applications and academic records.
  • Confidentiality and Security: Maintains confidentiality of student records in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, ensuring that student records are maintained in a professional and secure manner.
  • Customer Service and Support: Provides customer service to faculty, students, and administrative areas related to grading, registration, enrollment verification, transcripts, and any changes related to the academic record.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborates with the Registrar to manage preparation for, processing of, and reporting on enrollment activities each term, and directly supports the Admissions Officer and provides administrative backup/support utilizing specialized skill and expertise in Admissions business processes.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field with three years' experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, demonstrates critical thinking and decision-making skills, prior experience working with student records, and experience with databases and spreadsheets.
