Leman Academy of Excellence is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Schools to join our team. As a key member of our administrative district team, the Director of Schools will provide leadership and guidance for our school district, working closely with our CEO and other senior leaders to ensure the success of our academies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide educational leadership and guidance to our site leaders and administrators
  • Ensure that our academies meet the School Board-approved mission, philosophy, guiding principles, policies, and annual budgetary commitments
  • Develop and implement new programs and initiatives to support the continuous improvement of our academies
  • Coordinate and assist with curriculum development, best practices for instruction, meaningful assessment, and professional development
  • Support a comprehensive and well-planned professional development program for our faculty and staff
  • Supervise classroom instructional practices and provide instructional leadership for outcomes
  • Model excellent qualities in shepherd-leadership, educational leadership, symbolic leadership, and cultural leadership
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Education or Educational Leadership
  • Arizona Principal Certification
  • At least five years of leadership experience, including principal roles
  • Five years of teaching experience
  • AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card / Background and Criminal History Clearance
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Arizona Administrative Certification preferred
  • Proven leadership ability promoting collaborative decision-making
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong commitment to supporting and safeguarding the principles of excellence in education
