Job Title: Technical Project Manager

At Pinnacle Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects within the Regulatory Program Team of the Information Services Group (ISG).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and manage high-priority regulatory projects across their lifecycle by identifying and structuring problems, analyzing requirements, project scope and planning, communicating project deliverables, and working cross-ISG teams to implement the regulatory mandate within the timeline.
  • Define project scope and objectives, gather, analyze, validate, and manage project requirements.
  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex, high-impact regulatory requirements and implementation frameworks through in-depth analysis and evaluation of regulatory mandates, systems, and industry standards.
  • Attend regulatory meetings as a representative of the ISG organization on regulatory matters, record meeting summaries, and follow-up actions for distribution to relevant stakeholders.
  • Effectively partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across Technology/ISG and Businesses to promote a more integrated approach to regulatory relations.
  • Drive tactical and strategic planning to ensure program corrective actions plans are met, including identification, documentation, reviews of multiple deliverables (Technology, Businesses, Internal Audit, Risk, etc.) before distributing to Regulators on a regular basis.
  • Maintain awareness of changing industry trends, competition, and regulations that impact any phase of success of the lending business.
  • Implement controls to enhance the integrity of key management reporting.
  • Identify risks, communicate impact, and propose risk mitigation options.

This is a dynamic role, and responsibilities within the PMO function may be assigned based on requirements.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience with all the above skills.
  • Basic understanding of products like equities, derivatives, commodities, capital markets, bonds, and GSP.
  • Finance domain experience.
  • Technical project management experience, including tracking and reporting, process improvement, and change management.
  • Excellent communication skills to negotiate internally and developed communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince others.
