Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining and refining the product backlog, managing small projects, and handling enhancements and bug fixes.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in analyzing and enhancing applications, including at least two years in a lead role on projects of various sizes.

Key responsibilities include gathering business and technical requirements, documenting, verifying, and refining both new and existing requirements.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting user acceptance testing when necessary and attending SCRUM ceremonies with the core Workday team or Project team.

Additionally, this role will require the ability to manage multiple projects or systems simultaneously and to follow TS best practices, including documentation, project, and change management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Write user stories with the 3W format as well as document acceptance criteria using the Azure DevOps tool.
  • Partner with multiple agencies to understand known and needed business processes, system requirements, and integration requirements.
  • Create and maintain functional process analysis documentation such as data mapping, process flows, and technical requirements documents.
  • Perform technical process evaluation, analysis, along with recommending fixes.
  • Partner with the QA team to support User Acceptance Testing when needed.
  • May provide go-live support and immediate post-production support activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in analyzing and enhancing applications, including at least two years in a lead role on projects of various sizes.
  • Experience with payment, billing, and/or accounts receivable systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or systems simultaneously.
  • Proficient in workflow analysis, integrations/APIs, and overall ERP system design.
  • Skilled in writing user stories using the 3W format.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps (TFS/VSTS) or other lifecycle management tools such as JIRA.
  • Capable of gathering, refining, and validating complex business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks, and issues.
  • Experience in creating user stories and requirements.
  • Knowledgeable in data mapping activities.
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining flow diagrams using Lucid Charts and/or Microsoft Visio.
  • Experienced in managing process analysis and improvement initiatives that affect multiple teams and departments.
  • Skilled in identifying, recommending, and implementing improvements for enterprise-wide systems.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, working effectively with peers, customers, and vendors.
  • Experience in minor production support and resolving incidents.

Preferred But Not Required

  • Experience with Scaled Agile methodologies.
  • Background in the public sector, particularly at the municipal or county level.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for managing incident tickets.

Pay Range:
$55 - $70/hr W2
