Job Summary

The Radiology Department Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Imaging Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of imaging staff, including radiologic technologists, sonographers, and other support personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage departmental resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of imaging or nursing experience.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or equivalent.
  • State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography or equivalent.
  • Current BLS certification by The American Heart Association Standards.
