Imaging Department Supervisor

Job Summary
The Imaging Department Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Imaging Department, ensuring the staff is performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures, and actively participating as a member of the Imaging team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides imaging services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families.
- Ensures the proper preparation for exams, patient safety, and wellbeing during procedures.
- Coordinates daily workflow of the staff, provides QC monitoring, and acts as a liaison between staff and management.
- Develops policy and procedure for the Imaging Department, provides staff with current information, and ensures staff maintain current competencies.
- Assists with scheduling, orientation, supply inventory, and emergency repair of imaging equipment.
Requirements
- Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires a minimum of two years of imaging or nursing experience.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) and State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography are required.
- Current BLS certification by The American Heart Association Standards is required.
