Job Summary:

The Imaging Department Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Imaging Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services. The incumbent will provide leadership and guidance to the staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the Imaging Department, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Renown Health standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists to determine contrast media and improve image quality.
  • Coordinate daily workflow and provide for appropriate QC monitoring.
  • Act as a liaison between the staff and management, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.

Requirements:

  • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires a minimum of two years of imaging or nursing experience.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) is required.
  • Current BLS certification by The American Heart Association is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) and Vascular Interventional (VI) experience.

Work Environment:

The Imaging Department Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, staff, and physicians. The incumbent will be required to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Demands:

The Imaging Department Supervisor will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment, and move quickly in response to emergencies.
