About This Role

We are seeking an Associate Personal Banker to join our National Branch Network team at Wells Fargo Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by building relationships and providing personalized banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in proactive outreach to build relationships with customers and propose suitable products and services to help them succeed financially.
  • Assist customers with basic requests related to account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
  • Receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures.
  • Develop a deep understanding of bank products and services to connect with customers' needs.
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships.
  • Provide options for bank products and services to customers and refer their financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.
  • This role requires SAFE registration and compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations.
Requirements
  • 6+ months of customer interaction experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  • Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email.
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options.
  • Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate.
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
  • Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members.
